Bell Ringing with the Salvation Army
Since 1865, the Salvation Army has been raising money to meet basic human needs without discrimination. The sounds of bells ringing and a red bucket are now both symbols of hope and peace. The Salvation Army organizes 7,546 centers within communities across the United States. Food distribution, disaster relief and anti-human trafficking efforts are just a few of the many efforts that this organization hopes to support each year. Eighty-two cents of every dollar collected supports these missions. Key Club members volunteer throughout December to ring bells outside The Crystal Mall.
